Fleckney man dies in Bruntingthorpe three-car crash

An 18-year-old man has died in a three-car crash in Leicestershire.

The collision involved a black Ford Ka, a white VW Golf GTD and a red Seat Arosa in Bath Lane, Bruntingthorpe, at about 21:38 GMT on Monday.

Adam Stevenson, of Fleckney, was driving the Ford Ka and died at the scene, Leicestershire Police said.

Two 17-year-old men have been arrested in connection with the crash and released on bail pending further enquiries.

No-one else was injured during the collision.

All three cars were travelling along Bath Lane towards Shearsby when the collision occurred, police said.

Detectives have appealed for anyone who saw the vehicles driving along Bath Lane or around the Fleckney and Bruntingthorpe areas of Leicestershire to contact them.
