East Midlands Airport reopens after weather delays
East Midlands Airport has reopened after snow and cold weather forced cancellation of some flights.
The airport in Leicestershire was closed at 16:30 GMT on Saturday by poor weather conditions.
Five flights to the airport were diverted elsewhere, an airport spokesman said.
Officials said the airport was operational again on Sunday, but flights to Sharm el Sheik, Toulouse and Tenerife had faced delays.
Trent Barton and Arriva said their bus services in the East Midlands were running but some diversions were in place.
