Ratby Co-op robbery pair had crowbar and machete

Two men are being sought by police following an armed robbery on a Co-op store in Leicestershire.

The masked men, carrying what have been described as a crowbar and a machete, entered the shop in Station Road, Ratby, at about 20:30 GMT on Monday.

They forced open cash boxes behind the counter and stole money, said police.

No-one was injured during the raid and Leicestershire Police has appealed for any witnesses.
