An image of a man police want to speak to after a female worker was sexually assaulted in a Leicester sandwich shop has been released.

A man entered the Subway shop on Charles Street at 06:05 BST last Friday and asked to use the toilet.

After being told the shop was not yet open, he used the toilet anyway and then sexually assaulted the staff member in a store room.

He is described as white, aged about 25, with short dark brown hair.

After the assault he ran off in the direction of Humberstone Gate.

Det Con Jane Everson said: "This woman was subjected to a terrifying and distressing assault and has obviously been left extremely upset by what happened to her.

"We need to trace the man responsible and would urge the public to take a look at this image."
