Four charged over Leicester robberies
Four teenagers have been charged following a number of robberies in Leicestershire over the weekend.
The youths, aged between 15 and 17, have been charged with robbery and a firearms offence.
The charges relate to an incident at a petrol station in Houghton-on-the-Hill on Sunday.
They have also been charged with conspiracy to rob in relation to incidents in Thurmaston, Leicester and Netherhall.
The teenagers are due to appear at a youth court in Leicester later.
A shop in Uppingham Road, Leicester, was raided on Friday, followed by shops in Humberstone Lane in Thurmaston, Saffron Lane, Leicester, and Cardinals Walk in Netherhall on Saturday.
