The 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted near Narborough Road in the early hours of 18 November.

The woman, who was cutting across a footpath turning left onto King Richards Road, was approached by a man who made inappropriate comments and then sexually assaulted her.

The man ran off towards a Tesco supermarket, a police spokesman said.

The suspect is described as Asian with light skin, about 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in (1.68 to 1.73m) tall and of slim build with dark short-cropped hair and facial stubble.

He was wearing a chequered style shirt and blue jeans.
