Leicester fire deaths: Painstaking fingertip search

13 September 2013 Last updated at 17:09 BST

Leicestershire police are treating the deaths of a mother and her three children in a house fire as murder.

The victims have been named locally as Shehnila Taufiq, her daughter Zainab and sons Jamal and Bilal.

Detectives are investigating whether the blaze last night was linked to a murder in the city yesterday.

Jo Black reports from the scene, where forensics officers are conducting a "painstaking" fingertip search.
