BBC East Midlands Today presenter Anne Davies has been following the progress of a Leicestershire-based charity's effort to create an orphanage for children in Malawi.

Alice Pulford, from Rothley, Leicestershire, set-up the charity LoveTilinanu in south-eastern Africa.

More than 30 girls live at the orphanage, but the charity has not stopped there.

Boys are being fostered, Leicestershire schools have donated uniforms for children and 15 builders, from the East Midlands, are building a school in 10 days.
