Fatal crash cyclist named as French national Anais Thouvenot

A 22-year-old female cyclist who died after a collision with a car in Leicester has been named by police.

Anais Thouvenot, a French national, who lived in Oldbury, Sandwell, West Midlands, died in hospital, a week after the crash.

The driver of the car, a black Honda Civic, was not injured.

Anyone who witnessed the Regent Road crash, on 9 November, or saw either the cyclist or car before it happened, is asked to contact police.
