Leicester man critical after street stabbing
A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed in a Leicester street.
The 29-year-old was found at midnight on Friday in Henley Road, close to the junction with Fosse Road North.
Police said he had suffered "stab wounds" and remains at Leicester Royal Infirmary where his condition was described as critical but stable.
A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with the stabbing and was due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court later.
A second arrested man, aged 25, was released without charge.
