Man arrested after biker dies in A52 crash in Leicestershire

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a car.

The 33-year-old is in custody after the collision, which took place on the A52, in Bottesford, Leicestershire, at about 08:35 BST.

The road was closed at the junctions with Nottingham Road and the Barkstone Lane crossroads.

Leicestershire Police said no-one else was injured.
