Man, 33, assaulted in pub in Saxilby

A man has been injured during an assault at a pub in a Lincolnshire village.

The 33-year-old man was attacked in the Sun Inn pub on High Street, Saxilby, at about 0020 BST on Sunday.

The victim, who is from the local area, suffered a cut above his eye and swelling to his nose. He received treatment from paramedics.

The offender is described as 5ft 11in tall, of stocky build with dark hair. Police have appealed for witnesses.
