Boston kebab shop worker stabbed in robbery attempt

A 30-year-old man has been stabbed during an attempted robbery at a kebab shop in Lincolnshire.

He was locking the rear door of Speedy Peppers, in West Street, Boston, at 0030 BST on Monday when he was approached by a man who demanded money.

A scuffle broke out during which the victim suffered a small stab wound to his leg, police said.

The injured man was treated at Pilgrim Hospital. The offender is described as white and wore a blue hooded top.
