Open jail absconder Michael Bratton arrested

An inmate who absconded from an open prison in Lincolnshire has been arrested.

Michael Anthony Bratton, 22, left North Sea Camp Prison in Boston, where he was serving a five-year sentence for robbery, on 17 August.

He telephoned police on 23 August in Skegness and arranged to meet officers who arrested him.

Bratton is back in custody and is due to appear before magistrates in Skegness on Tuesday.

North Sea Camp Prison is a Category D jail for adult males.
