Lincoln Churches in Mission are hosting what they said could be the biggest music event of its kind in Lincolnshire.

The Bank Festival is taking place at Lincoln City's Sincil Bank stadium in May and will feature music from LZ7, Dweeb and BeBe Vox.

The aim of the festival is to get more young people involved with the church.

Event co-ordinator Dan Hargreaves said they hoped to attract more than 6,000 people.

"We are very excited, we are aiming to bring together thousands of young people to celebrate and hopefully share a bit about our faith in a real way where everyone is welcome", said Mr Hargreaves.

"It will hopefully be the biggest music event Lincolnshire has ever seen."
