Teenager sentenced for causing Toft fatal crash

A man has been jailed after he admitted causing the death of another driver in a three-car crash in Lincolnshire.

Jack Hutchinson, 18, admitted causing the death of Terence Wheeler by dangerous driving in a crash on the A6121, at Toft, last May.

Mr Wheeler, 68, from Kettering in Northamptonshire, died in hospital.

Hutchinson, of Swallow Hill, Thurlby, was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court to 20 months in a Young Offenders Institution.

Hutchinson was also disqualified from driving for two years and must take an extended driving test.
