St Mary's Church in Frampton targeted by lead thieves

A church in Lincolnshire has been targeted by thieves who stole thousands of pounds worth of lead.

The theft from St Mary's Church, Church End, in Frampton, was discovered on Tuesday morning.

It is believed thieves stole 11 rolls of lead from the church worth many thousands of pounds, police said.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the vicinity of the church or who has any information is urged to contact police.
