Lincolnshire water mains burst cuts supplies

Hundreds of homes on the Lincolnshire coast are without water supplies after a large mains pipe burst.

The pipe ruptured on Burgh Road, Burgh le Marsh, on Thursday afternoon leaving properties in the area and parts of Skegness without water.

Anglian Water said engineers had been at the scene since 1430 BST.

Ciaran Nelson, of Anglian Water, said: "Our crews are out there now - they will work through the night to fix this if that's what's required."
