Water restored to Lincolnshire homes after pipe burst

The water supply to hundreds of homes on the Lincolnshire coast has been returned to normal after a mains pipe burst.

The pipe ruptured on Burgh Road, Burgh le Marsh, on Thursday afternoon leaving properties in the area and parts of Skegness without water.

Engineers were at the scene for many hours to repair the damage.

Anglian Water said: "All the repairs went to plan last night, and everyone is back to normal with water."
