Lincolnshire biker death driver sentenced

A 21-year-old man Lincolnshire man has avoided jail during sentencing over the death of a motorcyclist.

Jean-Baptiste Van Spyk, 18, from Donington near Boston, was hit by a car at Scredington in November 2010.

Ben Burrows, from Sleaford, had earlier admitted causing death by careless driving.

At Lincoln Crown Court he received a community order of 300 hours of unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for a year.
