Murder charge over Lincolnshire workshop death

A woman has been charged with the murder of her businessman boyfriend who was found dead in his Lincolnshire workshop after a fire.

The body of David Twigg, 46, was discovered on 13 March inside a cupboard in a building in Station Yard, Burgh le Marsh.

Police have charged his partner, Julie Dixon, 43, with murder.

She appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Wednesday afternoon and was remanded into custody until 26 August.

Police said Mr Twigg, a joiner, was locked in the cupboard and is thought to have died from breathing in smoke.
