Cruelty charge over Louth kitten deaths

A man has been charged with cruelty offences after a cat and two kittens were found dead at a property in Lincolnshire.

Officers were called to the address in Upgate, Louth on Saturday to reports of a disturbance.

A 25-year-old, who is from the town, has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.

He is due to appear at Skegness Magistrates' Court on 26 July.
