Boston body find prompts police inquiry

A police investigation is under way after the body of a woman was found near a rowing club in Lincolnshire.

Officers were called to an area on the West Witham Bank, close to the Carlton Road Rowing Club in Boston when the discovery was made on Friday morning.

Police are treating the death as "unexplained" and inquiries into the background are continuing.

The woman, believed to be in her late 40s or 50s, has not yet been identified.
