Warning over gas cylinder theft at Boston Pilgrim Hospital

A warning has been issued after five chemical cylinders were stolen from a hospital in Lincolnshire.

The nitrous oxide cylinders were stolen from a chemical store at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston.

The offenders broke into the store between 23:30 BST on Wednesday and 00:30 BST on Thursday.

The gas is used by medical professionals as a form of pain relief but can be harmful if used as a recreational drug, police said.
