Four injured in five-vehicle crash in Lincolnshire

Four people have been injured in a five-vehicle collision in a village in Lincolnshire.

A 43-year-old man suffered serious head injuries in the crash just after 12:30 BST on Sleaford Rd at Nocton Heath near Lincoln.

The road has been closed while an investigation takes place into the collision, Lincolnshire police said.

The three other people involved suffered minor injuries and were taken to Lincoln County Hospital.

The injured man, who was the driver of one of the cars, was taken to the same hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone who has information about the crash to contact them.
