Man's jaw broken in Skegness nightclub assault

An 18-year-old man has had to have a metal plate fitted to his jaw after being assaulted at a Lincolnshire nightclub.

The Staffordshire man was in the LA Cafe in Skegness in the early hours of Friday when he was punched in the face and kicked while on the ground.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital for surgery on his jaw, which had been broken in two places.

The man was unable to describe his attackers, who were part of a group.

Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police.
