Lincolnshire teenager arrested after serious crash

A 19-year-old Lincolnshire motorist has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink or drugs after a crash in Skellingthorpe.

A 15-year-old girl was seriously injured when the car overturned on Ferry Lane on Saturday night.

She was taken for treatment to the intensive care unit at Sheffield Northern General Hospital.

Two other passengers - a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man - suffered minor injuries in the accident.

The passengers, all from Lincoln, were injured when the Vauxhall Corsa left the road and overturned.
