A16 Lincolnshire crash death driver named

A man who was killed in a three-vehicle collision on a main Lincolnshire road has been named by police.

A Toyota Celica was in collision with a lorry and transit van on the A16 Spalding bypass at Crowland just before midday on Tuesday.

The driver of the car was Zydrunas Krasauskas, aged 22, from Moulton Chapel near Spalding.

The van driver, a 44-year-old man from Bourne, is being treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The road was closed until late evening, causing major congestion in the area.

The fatality brings to 25 the number of people killed on Lincolnshire's roads this year compared to 21 at the same point in 2010.
