Man, 58, arrested after Lincolnshire road death

A Nottinghamshire man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash in Lincolnshire.

A car driven by the 58-year-old Worksop man collided with another vehicle on the A15, Lincolnshire police said.

The 77-year-old driver of the other car, from Ashby near Scunthorpe, died at the scene at 20:20 BST on Friday south of Caenby Corner.

The 58-year-old was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and later discharged.

The road was closed until early on Saturday morning while an investigation took place.
