Man bailed over fatal road crash in Lincolnshire

A Nottinghamshire man arrested over a fatal crash in Lincolnshire has been released on bail.

Richard Taylor, 77, of Staindale Road, Ashby, near Scunthorpe, died when two cars collided south of Caenby Corner at 20:20 BST on Friday.

The other driver, a 58-year-old man from Worksop, suffered a head injury and was treated in hospital.

He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been bailed until 21 October.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
