Man dies in A15 Sleaford crash

A man has died and a teenage girl was injured in a crash in Lincolnshire.

A green Suzuki Swift and a silver Renault van collided at about 18:50 BST on the A15 at the Tally Ho Inn near Sleaford on Thursday.

The girl, 14, from Spalding, and the 19-year-old from Donington - both passengers in the Suzuki - were taken to hospital where the man died.

The Suzuki driver, a 17-year-old male from Boston, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A 45-year-old man from the Friskney area, was also arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of an accident and perverting the course of justice.

The driver of the van was treated for shock.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision or saw either vehicle before the crash.
