Police identify A15 Sleaford crash death victim

A 19-year-old man who died in a crash in Lincolnshire has been named by police.

Joshua Reed, of Flinders Road, Donington, was a passenger in a Suzuki Swift when it collided with a van on the A15 near Sleaford on 6 October.

He was taken to hospital where he later died.

The Suzuki driver, a 17-year-old male, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on police bail until 15 November.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of an accident and perverting the course of justice. He has been released on police bail until 1 December.

A 14-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Suzuki, remains in hospital.

The driver of the van was treated for shock.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision or saw either vehicle before the crash.
