Two arson attacks on the same Lincolnshire street could have put lives at risk, police have said.

In the first attack, late on 31 October, about 14ft (4.3m) of garden hedge was set alight in Troughton Walk, South Witham.

In the early hours on Thursday morning a sofa was set on fire, which then spread to a fence and also damaged bicycles and a car.

While no-one was hurt, officers said the attacks were highly dangerous.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
