Arrests over Mablethorpe Co-op store armed raid

Four people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Lincolnshire supermarket.

The raid happened at the Mablethorpe Co-op on 15 November when security guards, making a cash delivery, were threatened with a sledgehammer.

Three local men, two aged 32 and one aged 33, and a 17 year-old boy from Manchester, have since been interviewed and released on police bail.

Officers have renewed their appeal for information on the attack.

The suspects fled the scene in a black VW Golf which was dumped nearby. The amount taken has not been confirmed.

One of the guards required hospital treatment.
