Biker killed on A158 identified as Michael Brian Williams

A motorcyclist killed in a crash on a Lincolnshire road has been identified by police.

Michael Brian Williams, 53, of Sudbrooke, Lincoln, died as his yellow Yamaha 600cc collided with a white car on the A158 Wragby Road at Sudbrooke.

A 27-year-old man from Wales has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on police bail.

Mr Williams, known as Brian, was a prison officer at HMP Lincoln.

The father-of-two served in the armed forces as a tank commander as a young man.

His wife Helen, 46, said: "We were his whole life and he did nothing without us. His life was about us and serving his country and community."
