Elderly woman killed in Gainsborough crash named

Police have named an elderly woman who died after a car overturned in Lincolnshire.

Marjorie Hill was killed when a Vauxhall Zafira left the road at Thorndike Way in Gainsborough on Tuesday evening.

The 83-year-old, from Ordsall near Retford, Nottinghamshire, was the front-seat passenger, said police.

The car's driver, a 58-year-old man, and his 54-year-old wife who was a passenger, suffered minor injuries.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash - at about 19:15 GMT - should contact Lincolnshire Police.
