No criminal charges will be brought over an explosion which killed five people in Lincolnshire.

Five Lithuanian men died in a fireball on an industrial estate in Boston in July last year while making fake vodka.

The Crown Prosecution Service said it could not clearly establish the cause of the explosion or the identity of any other person responsible.

The case will now be passed to customs officers to decide if there are customs or tax investigations to be made.

Vaidas Krupenkinas, 39, Ovidijus Mejeris, 26, Laimutis Simkus, 32, Ricardas Gecas, 24, and Erlandas Duzinskas, 18 are believed to have died instantly in the blast.

Broadfield Lane Industrial Estate was closed for a week while forensic investigations were carried out.
