Two men have been remanded in custody charged with murder over the death of a Lincoln man who had boiling water poured over him.

Sonny Grey, 70, died in hospital after he was scalded with water from a kettle at his home in Lincoln on 29 October. Three men stole cash and jewellery.

Rocky Curtis, 24, and Robert Holmes, 23, both from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, were charged with murder this week.

Both men are due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court in August to enter a plea.
