Lincolnshire baby death: Man held on suspicion of murder

A man is being questioned on suspicion of murder following the death of a 14-month-old girl in Lincolnshire.

The 29-year-old was arrested at the weekend after the baby was taken to hospital in Grimsby with a suspected brain injury on Saturday evening.

The girl died at Sheffield Children's Hospital on Monday night and the man is being questioned at Skegness Police Station.

Police said she was from Sandringham Drive in Sutton-on-Sea.
