University of Lincoln Snowman animators discuss sequel

Animators from the University of Lincoln have been talking about their work on the sequel to the 1982 Christmas classic The Snowman.

The sequel, which coincides with the the 30th anniversary of The Snowman, introduces a new best friend, The Snowdog.

Denise Dean, a lecturer on the University of Lincoln's BA (Hons) Animation course, said it took about 200,000 hand drawn images to create the new film.
