Crash death motorist named as Lewis Thomas James

A 28-year-old man who died after his car left the road and crashed into a tree in Lincolnshire has been named by police.

Officers found the wreckage of the car on Station Road in Gunby, near Spilsby, on Saturday morning.

Lewis Thomas James, from Habertoft, near Alford, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman appealed for anyone with information about the crash to contact the force.
