Driver killed on A16 in Lincolnshire in crash with lorry

A 74-year-old man has been killed in a crash with a lorry in Lincolnshire.

The accident happened on the A16 between Sibsey and Stickney at 12:50 BST on Thursday. The road was closed for nine hours.

The victim, who was driving a red Ford Focus, is believed to be from Boston.

The 52-year-old man who was driving the Spanish-registered Renault lorry was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Police are appealing for witnesses.
