Mid UK Recycling: Investigation launched after worker dies

A 55-year-old man has died at a Lincolnshire recycling plant.

Police were called to Mid UK Recycling in Ermine Street, Ancaster, near Grantham, at 17:30 BST on Friday after the man, who worked at the site, died.

Detectives are not treating the death as suspicious but the Health and Safety Executive is investigating.

Earlier this year a fire at the plant destroyed thousands of tonnes of carpet.
