A family is found in the back of Boston lorry
A family of four have been detained after being found in the back of a refrigerated lorry in Lincolnshire.
The Spanish registered vehicle was carrying vegetables bound for a company near Boston.
The driver found the unexpected occupants after banging was heard while the lorry was parked in a lay-by on the A16 in Spalding on Thursday.
The family from Iran has been placed in the care of the UK Border Agency and taken to an immigration centre.
Lincolnshire Police said all four individuals were "suffering from effects of the cold".
The occupants were a 43-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman and two boys aged 10 and two. The youngest child was taken to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital as a precaution.
