Skegness attempted murder: Five men arrested
Five men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two men were found injured in Skegness.
Lincolnshire Police said one of the victims, aged 18, is in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital after receiving "significant injuries".
The police and ambulance service were called to an address on South Parade at 16:45 GMT on Saturday.
The suspects are believed to have escaped in a Ford Focus, which police stopped on the A16 at 17:05.
'Refused to stop'
Det Con Insp David Rimmer said: "This was a brutal attack for which the motives are currently unclear."
The other victim, aged 23, was treated and released from hospital on Saturday.
Police said they located the Ford Focus being driven on the A16 at Ulceby Cross, but it "refused to stop for officers and was caused to stop" on the A16 near Burwell.
The five men arrested are aged between 20 and 30.
