Walnut Place murder: Robert James Taylor named as victim

A man who died in hospital after he was stabbed at a block of flats in Lincoln has been named by police.

Robert James Taylor, 39, was attacked in Walnut Place, in the Sincil Bank area of the city, on Friday evening.

Detectives have begun a murder investigation and said the post-mortem examination is being carried out to establish the exact cause of his death.

A 42-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
