Man seriously injured after going onto Grantham tracks
A 27-year-old man has been seriously injured after going onto the tracks just outside Grantham railway station.
Police said the man from Peterborough suffered electrical burns to his legs at 15:00 BST on Thursday after failing to stop for officers in the town.
He was flown by air ambulance to Queens Medical Centre hospital, Nottingham, and remains in a serious condition.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission is investigating and has appealed for witnesses.
The incident was referred by Lincolnshire Police, said the commission.
