Girl, two, killed in Homerton car crash

A two-year-old girl has died after being hit by a car in east London.

The accident happened in Crozier Terrace at the junction with Homerton High Street, Homerton, at 1340 BST, police said.

The child, who has not been named, was taken by ambulance to hospital where she later died.

Appealing for witnesses, police said it was thought the victim was hit by a silver Vauxhall Vectra. No-one has been arrested.
