The parents of a four-month-old baby have appeared at the Old Bailey charged with his murder.

Jayden Moses Wray died three days after being admitted to hospital in July last year and was found to have suffered head injuries and multiple fractures.

His father, Rohan Wray, 20, and mother, Chana Al-Alas, 18, formerly of Islington, north London, appeared in court via videolink.

Both are charged with murder and causing or allowing the death.

Mr Wray was remanded in custody while Ms Al-Alas was granted conditional bail.
