A man has died in hospital after being stabbed near to a north London pub, the Metropolitan Police has said.

Officers were called to reports of a fight on the A10 Great Cambridge Road, Enfield, at about 2200 BST.

A 41-year-old man was found with a stab wound to the neck. He was taken to an east London hospital where he was pronounced dead at about 2300 BST.

Two men, aged 52 and 51, were arrested and are being held at a north London police station.

A female suspect, 50, was arrested later.

Police said the man was injured when a fight involving a large group of men broke out by the Toby Carvery pub.

Police said the pub would have been very busy at the time, and they urged any witnesses to come forward.

A large stretch of the A10 remains closed to traffic as police forensics officers investigate the scene.
